The original page carried a prayer-request form. The ministry’s own statement on prayer is reproduced below. No prayer request is collected here.
“Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”James 5:16
“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.”Colossians 4:2
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:6
Our statement on prayer
At World Opportunities we believe prayer to be one of the greatest gifts God has ever given to mankind. It is the means by which we commune with an Infinite and Almighty Savior who loves us deeply.
As published in 2005, readers were invited to send their prayer needs so that the ministry could commit to intercede for them on a regular basis before the Lord, and to write again when the Lord provided an answer.
The page also recorded the ministry’s commitment that information given on that form would remain strictly confidential and would not be shared with third parties unless required by law. The privacy statement of the time is reproduced on the Privacy page.
